Lebanon’s First Lady, Nehmat Aoun, announced that, for the first time, a person with a disability has joined the Presidential Palace team.
She welcomed the new team member, Ali, with a warm message on X, highlighting the importance of this milestone.

Nehmat Aoun stressed that this is not just a job offer, but the start of fully implementing disability rights laws and international agreements.
She ended by saying Ali’s presence is a daily reminder that inclusion isn’t a choice; it’s a basic right for everyone.
