Israeli Airstrikes Hit Beirut And Southern Lebanon As Displacement Tops One Million

Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes targeting the Kafaat and Haret Hreik areas in Beirut’s southern suburbs. Another strike hit a residential apartment building in the Doha Aramoun area, causing damage and panic among residents.

Attacks Extend to Southern Lebanon

In addition to Beirut, Israel carried out airstrikes on a building in the village of Arab al-Jal in southern Lebanon. These attacks mark a continuation of escalating military operations across the region.

Displacement Crisis Worsens

Lebanese authorities reported that more than one million people have registered as displaced since March 2. Over 130,000 are currently staying in more than 600 collective shelters across the country, highlighting the growing humanitarian crisis.

Death Toll and Injuries Rise

Since fighting between Israel and Hezbollah resumed, Israeli attacks have killed at least 886 people, including women and children, and wounded 2,141 others, the Lebanese Health Ministry said Monday. The toll continues to rise as airstrikes persist.
