The Qatari Alkass channel reported the news of Mohamed Salah’s initial approval of starting negotiations regarding his transfer to the Saudi club, al Ittihad for over $200 million in the summer transfer Season!
Multiple press outlets reported Al Ittihad’s desire to sign the 31-year-old player to join its team in the 2023 summer season, with a two-year contract.
Al Kass’ account on Twitter confirmed that “The Egyptian and international, Mohamed Salah, gave the green light to the management of the Saudi Al-Ittihad club to negotiate with its counterpart in the English club Liverpool to play within the ranks of the Al-Ittihad during the current summer transfer period”

However, in response to these speculations, Ramy Abbass, Salah’s manager stated recently on August 7th on his Twitter account that if there had been any interest in transferring, the player wouldn’t have signed a new contract for three more seasons with the English club.
His manager, Ramy Abbas Issa stated on his Twitter Account “If we considered leaving LCF this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer, Mohamed remains committed to LFC.”
