An Egyptian Man Just Returned 125 Stolen Artefacts To The Supreme Council

Avatar

A collection of 125 antiquities was given to the Supreme Council of Antiquities by an Egyptian citizen. Who you ask? A random dude, we say.

A university professor and doctor of Islamic studies, the man had bought the artefacts illegally

Talk about a change of heart! Dr. Mustafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, said he was glad to see the man take that action and with his gift to the Council, which to Waziri, demonstrates the Egyptian people’s understanding of the value of protecting their culture and identity.
