The unfortunate event occurred on Tuesday, May 12, 2025, when a passenger train collided with a tractor at the Kafr Musaaed crossing in Itay Baroud.

The driver of the tractor was killed, and their body was taken to the morgue at Itay Baroud central hospital. Authorities were immediately notified, and an official report was filed regarding the incident.
