Logos Hope Just Arrived At Port Said’s Tourist Port!

Logos Hope is an international floating bookshop that travels to different countries in order to spread knowledge and literature. The ship offers help to those in need, through cultural and literary understanding. The ship is ran by a charitable organization in Germany and has been operating since 1970. The ship has had over 40 Million visitors in approximately 150 countries.

 

 

 

Hoping to encourage people to pursue knowledge and information, Logos Hope has over 5000 books on its deck. The books vary in genres, supporting inclusivity and collectivism. The ship has books about food, literature, medicine, languages and arts. The ship also has active educational performances.

The ship opened its doors for readers to come aboard on January 5th to readers from all ages. Logos Hope will remain in Egypt from for 20 days and will leave Port Said’s Port on the 23rd of January.
