The show just won its first Creative Arts Emmy for sound editing

Since its debut in March, the six-episode limited series has generated controversy, garnering eight Emmy nominations as well as a win for the series’ fifteen-member sound editing crew for “Outstanding Sound Editing For A Limited Or Anthology Series, Movie Or Special.”

May Calamawy, an Egyptian-Palestinian actor, was cast in a leading role alongside Amr Al-Qadi, Zizi Dagher, Ahmed Dash, and the series’ soundtrack, which was composed by renowned Egyptian musician Hesham Nazih and nominated for an Emmy award.
