1800 Egyptian Doctors Volunteer To Aid Wounded Gazans

The President of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate announced that 1800 egyptian doctors have volunteered to treat wounded Gazans through hospitals in North Sinai or Gaza.

Dr. Osama Abdel-Hay said that the situation in the Gaza Strip is extremely tragic, amid the continued Israeli aggression on the Strip, the bombing of homes and hospitals, and the killing of women and children, without deterrence or oversight.

He added: “We are doing our best, but the situation is extremely tragic, and we have nothing to offer, more than what we have done by opening the door for donations to support the Palestinian people, and opening the door for volunteering to treat the wounded Palestinians.”

He stressed that the syndicate received huge material donations for the Palestinian people, and more than 1,800 doctors, including professors with the highest degree of competence, offered to volunteer to treat the wounded Palestinians, whether inside Gaza once the Rafah crossing was opened, or in hospitals in North Sinai.

He also explained that they had contacted the Palestinian medical syndicate, the International Medical Alliance, Doctors Without Borders, and the arab and Palestinian doctors in Europe to open a portal for doctors looking to volunteer.
