40 Ambulances Enter Gaza Through the Egyptian Border Of Rafah

Yesterday night, a source told Extra News Channel that the Rafah Crossing border will open tomorrow to receive 81 wounded Palestinians who are in critical condition.

The governor of North Sinai, Mohamaed Shosha announced in a statement that El Sheikh Zuwaid field hospital has been built, that the governorate’s hospitals are ready, and that the medical staff is on alert and ready to receive wounded Palestinians through the border connecting Palestine and Egypt.

Shosha announced that El Sheikh Zuwaid Hospital is prepared with 50 beds, raising the capacity of hospital beds in the governorate to 350.

According to statements from health facilities in the governorate, nearly 150 ambulances are ready to transport patients. Additionally, three locations have been assigned to host those accompanying the injured in Sheikh Zuweid and Arish in North Sinai.

The deal to allow wounded Palestinians out of Gaza and those with dual citizenship was made between Hamas, Israel and Egypt, with Qatar as a mediator.

Al-Jazeera channel reported that 80 wounded Palestinians and 400 foreign national holders would be transported via the crossing.

Meanwhile, 40 aid trucks carrying humanitarian aid were unloaded at the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing, Al-Qahera News Channel reported, adding that 50 other trucks will be dispatched later.
