Hatshepsut

Dating back to 1507–1458 BC, Hatshepsut was the very first woman to rule in Egypt’s history.

Sameera Moussa

In 1939, Sameera obtained a BSc in radiology which qualified her to later work in Cairo University making her to first woman to achieve that position and paving her road to become the first female Egyptian Nuclear Physicist.

Manal Rostom

Manal has always been a sports addict and inspiring figure, she worked so hard to become the first Egyptian woman to climb mount Everest and openly shared her journey with everyone.

 

Lotfia Elnadi

With a dream to become a pilot in a society that only allowed men to do certain jobs, Lotfia managed to defy society’s norms and become the first Egyptian woman as well as the first woman from the Arab world and Africa to earn a pilot license back in 1933.

Sara Sabry

Sara officially became Egypt’s first female Analog Astronaut when she completed a 2-week moon mission simulation In 2021. Which also made her the first African woman and the first Arab woman to reach space.
