5 Restaurants With Breathtaking Views In Cairo

Avatar

Cairo, a city steeped in history and culture, boasts a variety of restaurants that offer not only delicious food but also stunning views of the city. Here are some of the best restaurants in Cairo with breathtaking views:

5. Crimson

This open-air rooftop restaurant and bar in Zamalek has some of the best Nile views in the city. It’s a great spot to go for dinner and drinks, or just a beer or cocktail at the bar. Their cocktail list is impressive as well, but expensive! Although to be fair, almost all of the entries on this list are on the pricey side – we woke up one day and Cairo was expensive, buthey, you only live once, right? Crimson offers traditional dishes served in a buzzing eatery & bar with city-and-Nile views.

4. La Zisa

This airy and light Italian restaurant is located at the St. Regis Cairo, which is right on the Nile Corniche, allowing great views for most of its restaurants. La Zisa offers an a la carte dining menu and also has a ‘Mamma Mia Brunch’ every Friday. Their menu has all the Italian classics you’d expect, and they offer something called ‘Tavolozze’, which are small dishes to be shared family style, instead of just stuck with one main course.

3. 139 Restaurant

The prime view from 139 Pavilion at the Marriott Mena House, Cairo makes the Pyramids at Giza look closer than your salad fork. This upscale restaurant offers a menu of international cuisine.

2. Le Deck

A floating terrace tucked along the quieter side of the Nile, Le Deck’s menu is anything but dull. This restaurant offers French cuisine with a modern twist in a beautiful outdoor setting.

1. Studio Misr:

Located in the heart of beautifully landscaped Azhar Park, Studio Misr serves traditional Egyptian cuisine on an outdoor terrace and boasts sprawling views of the park gardens and the Citadel of Salah El-Din’s minarets. After sipping a cup of mint tea, a walk through the gardens is the perfect way to unwind post dinner. Plan your visit so you can catch a concert at El-Genaina Theatre, also in Azhar Park, hosting local and international bands.
