According to Cairo 24, a Syrian man was arrested after obtaining a death certificate for his deceased Moroccan wife.
The man was reported to the police after security personnel suspected him after finding an error in one of his papers.
The man was then apprehended by the police, where he confessed to killing his wife and burying her. The abuser also admitted that he brutally assaulted his wife.
The Egyptian Public Prosecution has ordered the exhumation of the woman’s body, and for it to be referred to the forensic authority to conduct the needed tests.
