Chinese scientists recently observed a peculiar phenomenon above Egypt’s famous pyramids in Giza. They found bubbles causing disruptions in satellite and GPS communications.
These “plasma bubbles” were detected not only over the pyramids of Giza but also over Midway Atoll in the US. They indicate the accumulation of significant amounts of gas in a specific layer of Earth’s atmosphere, which interferes with satellite signals, as reported by Chinese media.
Dr. Mohamed Sameida El-Shahed, head of solar and space research at Egypt’s National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research, explained that similar phenomena occur globally due to charged particles entering the ionosphere during solar storms.
He clarified that while these disruptions can affect navigation and satellite operations to some extent, they are not limited to the Giza area but can occur anywhere worldwide.
