Many activists speculated that there are explanations suggesting the appearance of extraterrestrial creatures or flying saucers.

A Similar Phenomenon in Ethiopia

This isn’t the first time such an event has occurred. A similar phenomenon was reported in Ethiopia, where citizens observed mysterious fireballs moving at high speed.

Ethiopian officials are investigating these phenomena to determine whether they are caused by space debris or remnants of satellites, according to Egyptian media reports on Sunday.

Discovery in 2024

Last year, the National Institute for Astronomical Research in Egypt announced the discovery of four new space objects using the latest telescope in the Middle East, located in the Katameya region.

It was added that the total number of space discoveries reached nine last year.

The acting head of the institute, Taha Rabah, previously stated that one of the most notable observations made using the Katameya Observatory telescope and the satellite and space debris monitoring station was the asteroid MK 2024, which passed close to Earth on June 29, 2024. Its size ranged from 120 to 260 meters.

The research team successfully tracked the asteroid and calculated its rotation period, which lasted 47 minutes, matching the results from NASA’s space agency.
