Amid Border Clashes… Egypt Warns Against Jeopardizing The Safety Of Security Personnel

A high-level source told Al Qahera News Channel that Egypt has warned against jeopardizing the lives of Egyptian security personnel deployed at the country’s eastern. It alerted that any military operation near the Philadelphia axis would have serious repercussions. 

These warnings came in light of the killing of an Egyptian security guard at the border near Rafah on Monday.

According to Al Qahera News Channel, Initial investigations have found that a fire exchange between the Palestinian Resistance and the Occupation Forces near the border promoted the soldier to take protective measures and respond to the source of the shooting.

The source affirmed that those responsible would be identified and necessary measures would be taken against them to prevent the incident from happening again.

The spokesman of the Egyptian Armed Forces Gharib Abdel-Hafez announced earlier that the Armed Forces are investigating the shooting.

Philadelphia Corridor:

The source also explained that Egypt has warned more than once against any military operations in Rafah, or the Philadelphia Corridor as it would cause dire repercussions.

He affirmed that these repercussions would be difficult to control and likely to escalate.

He emphasized that Egypt is aware of the plans of those who promote agitation, and we prioritize our national responsibilities above everything else.
