An Official Security Source Denied Israeli Media Allegation On Taba Stabbing Incident

Senior Egyptian Official denied Israeli Media allegations revolving around the murder of 6 Israeli-Arabs during a physical altercation in a hotel in Taba, Egypt

Yesterday night, news of the murder of 6 Israelis in Taba, Egypt flooded social media. However, a Senior Egyptian official has denied the allegation of the murders and clarified that only 3 were injured as a result of a physical altercation between Israeli-Arab tourists and the Egyptian staff.

The allegedly broke out when an Egyptian worker asked the tourists to pay for a service they had already gotten, and they refused and cursed at him.

As the altercation escalated, the Egyptian worker was stabbed, sustaining a serious injury. The three tourists on the other hand had minor injuries.

Emergency response to the situation

Egyptian security services quickly arrived at the accident scene, and all were transferred to the hospital. 

The police are currently investigating to uncover the details of the incident.
