Assala Faces Backlash For New Song Supporting Palestine

Assala’s latest song for Palestine

A few days ago, Assala released a song in support of Palestine titled “Owners of the Land,” through which she expresses support for the Palestinians’ right to their land and solidarity with them.

An unexpected reaction

However, just two days after the song was released, she was surprised by a large number of threats on social media to delete the song because it was deemed inappropriate, despite the fact that the work only contains dance scenes and expressions.

An interesting collab

Assala collaborated on the song with an Egyptian a cappella group led by Maestro Dr. Mazen Draz, composed by Hussein Nazik, with musical arrangement by Ahmed Diaa, and orchestration and execution of strings by Fahd.
