On a famous Facebook group, one woman narrated the story of her almost-kidnapping attempt!
In her post, she explained, “Today, I was coming back from work at night via the Suez road. Under the 4.5 Bridge, there’s a bit of a bottleneck near the U-turn, but then it clears up. Anyway, while I was stuck in traffic—thankfully, I had my window closed—someone came up quickly beside my car and sprayed something on my window in less than a second, then sped off. I called my husband immediately and told him, and he said not to pull over.”
She continued, “The idea was that I was actually waiting for the traffic to clear a bit so I could pull over to the side near the entrance that leads me to Gardinia Square and Shinzo Abe Street. Indeed, as I was driving, I noticed three cars parked at intervals, which made us suspect that what we were afraid of was probably true: that if I had stopped to check or wipe my car, someone—who knows what—might have approached to do something harmful! Things move fast and feel risky in that area.”
Many women hopped into the comment section to share similar experiences they encountered on the road.
