The Media Center of the Cabinet denied what some social media pages circulated about a video clip allegedly containing a decision by the Prime Minister to resume working online from home every Sunday starting from August next month.
The Cabinet refuted these reports, affirming that there is no truth to the return of Sundays as a working day for employees under the “online” system from home starting from next August. They clarified that the circulated video is old and dates back to last year, 2023.

The video being circulated is in fact from 2023!
They explained that the Prime Minister’s decision regarding employees working online on Sundays was issued and applied only during August of last year, 2023, without extending or applying this decision during the current year, 2024. Therefore, all information in the video has no connection to the current year, urging citizens not to follow such misleading news and to obtain information from official sources.
The Media Center urged various media outlets to exercise accuracy and objectivity in disseminating facts, and to communicate with relevant authorities to verify information before publishing any unfounded claims that could cause public confusion.
