Avatar

Egypt’s highly anticipating LRT (light rail transit) train line is finally undergoing test runs before to its *drumroll* formal launch!

The new city-wide LRT train is in the middle of trialing the route

The City of Arts and Culture in the New Administrative Capital is connected to Adly Mansour by an electric Light Rail Train (LRT), which will eventually extend all the way to 10th of Ramadan City.

Although we have been told to expect the LRT lines to open on specific dates, the success of test runs means that we are now closer than ever.

Three stations down, a ticket is expected to cost EGP 15, five stations down, EGP 20, seven stations down, and nine stations down, it will cost EGP 35. There will be six vehicles in each train, including carriages.
