After the Egyptian duo Ahmed Saad and Alia Basyouni captivated their audience with news of their divorce followed by rumors of their reconciliation, Ahmed Saad announced his engagement to his ex-wife and mother of his children, Alia Basyouni. This comes after a year-long separation, and he indicated that they would be starting a new life together.

In the early hours of Sunday, Ahmed Saad shared a video on his official Instagram account, announcing his engagement to Alia Basyouni during one of his performances. He stated, “I’ve been married for two years and have two children, we separated, and now my wife has become my fiancée. We decided to have an engagement period that our children can attend… I will hold a wedding and invite you all, God willing.”

He also added, “A message to everyone who has divorced: give yourselves a chance away from any problems and start a new life.”

Saad then called his wife to join him on stage, where he embraced her amidst the enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience, concluding his remarks with the song “Alayki Oyoun.”

Previously, Alia Basyouni hinted at a possible reconciliation with Ahmed Saad through a post on her official Instagram page: “Every year, you are the kindest and sweetest person in the world… every year, you are the best thing in our lives… every year, you are well, Hamada.”
