Egypt Approves Testing The Work From Home System

Raghda Salah Embaby

Egypt’s New Work System

The Egyptian government has approved conducting a trial for six months to test the work-from-home system. This is done to explore the benefits of remote work in general. Since Covid, the world has been embracing new ways of working, and now it’s Egypt’s turn to modernize its work culture.

Reasons Behind The New System

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of remote work worldwide. Recognizing the potential advantages of this model, Egypt has decided to test its efficacy within its own borders. This trial period will allow the government to assess the impact of remote work on productivity, employee satisfaction, and work-life balance.

Work Fields Involved

The trial involves workers at the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology and at the Central Agency for Organisation and Administration as well.

Trial’s Result

If this trial proved to be successful, it might get implemented in other fields and for a longer time 😎
