The General Authority for Meteorology revealed the expected weather conditions today for the cities and governorates of Egypt based on satellite indicators. The exceptional weather conditions are expected to continue to affect southern Sinai, where some areas are facing floods, and thunderstorms with intermittent rainfall are expected over the Red Sea mountain ranges.
Winds ahead
Weather maps showed wind activity in Greater Cairo, the northwestern coastal areas, southern Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt. The winds are expected to be dusty and sandy in some areas of southern Egypt intermittently.

The meteorological authority issued an urgent maritime warning regarding today’s weather conditions, Tuesday. The maritime navigation is disrupted in the Red Sea and the Suez Gulf, with wind speeds reaching 65 km/h, and wave heights reaching up to 3.5 meters.
