Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi declared a three-day national mourning period to honor innocent Palestinian civilians who lost their lives in Gaza due to Israeli airstrikes, particularly at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital. President El-Sisi strongly condemned the “deliberate” Israeli bombings and emphasized their violation of international law.

The attack, causing at least 600 casualties, received widespread condemnation and triggered global protests. Peaceful demonstrations also took place at the Rafah border crossing, protesting the relocation of Palestinians and the lack of safe passage for humanitarian aid to Gaza.
