State Information Service Denies Israel’s Allegations At The International Court of Justice (ICJ)

The chairman of the State Information Service Diaa Rashwan denied Israel’s allegations and lies at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Israel alleged that Egypt is the one preventing the entrance of humanitarian aid convoys to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing border, which is not the case.

Rashwan affirmed that all Israeli officials – including the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense – have confirmed publicly that “they will not allow the aid to enter Gaza, especially fuel”

He also added that Egypt emphasized more than once that “the Rafah crossing from the Egyptian side is open without interruption”.

He also re-emphasized that egypt urged Israel to “Not to derail or prevent the entry of aid under the pretext of inspecting them”.

The chairman explained that Egypt’s sovereignty extends only to the Egyptian side of the Rafah border, while the other side of it in Gaza is subject to the actual occupation authority,”

Rashwan explained that Israel found itself accused with documented evidence of war and genocidal crimes, so the defense team resorted to throwing accusations at Egypt to escape condemnation from the court.

He also said that Israel controls the quantities of aid entering Gaza, which is why US President Joe Biden asked Israel to open the Karm Abu Salem crossing to facilitate the entry of aid.
