Egypt Is Giving 100K In Aid To Every Family Of The Abu Sefein Church Fire

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly has announced a follow up measure taken  as a result of the fire that started in Abu Sefein Church this morning.

Each family of the victims would receive EGP 100,000 in relief as well as up to EGP 20,000 for those who had been injured

Investigations have thus far revealed that the church building’s generator malfunctioned, which is what caused the fire. There have apparently been 41 fatalities and 14 injuries as a result of the fire.

The victims’ relatives are currently receiving medical attention and support from the government.
