Egypt Proposes A Plan To End The Genocide In Gaza

According to Senior Egyptian Officials, Egypt has proposed a plan to put an end to the Genocide in Gaza, Palestine.

The proposal includes provisions of a ceasefire, hostages exchange plan, and the establishment of a Palestinian technocratic state, in charge of the administration in the West Bank and Gaza.

The plan is still in its early stages and opposes Israel’s desire to eliminate Hamas.

The plan includes the release of 40-50 Israeli hostages in exchange for 120-150 Palestinians who were held in Israeli prisons, according to the Egyptian official.

According to him, Egypt and Qatar would also cooperate with all Palestinian groups, including Hamas and the internationally acknowledged Palestinian Authority, to reach a consensus on the formation of an expert administration.

The details were worked up by Egypt and Qatar and were formally presented to Hamas, Israel, The United States, and European governments.

Netanyahu still did not comment on the proposal but expressed his intentions during a Likud party to continue Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

However, according to multiple news agencies, Hamas and the Palestinian Liberation Authority have rejected the proposal.

The Authority stated that it “decided to reject the proposal, and to form a committee of its members to follow up on the resulting risks that affect the supreme interests of the Palestinian people and their inalienable national rights, and to adhere to the comprehensive political vision that emphasizes the firm Palestinian position.”
