EgyptAir has announced the introduction of a free transit visa for travelers entering Egypt. The visa allows a stay of 8 to 96 hours. The aim is to promote tourism and support Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development. By facilitating easier access, EgyptAir hopes to attract more visitors and boost the tourism sector. This initiative is expected to improve the travel experience for transit passengers and strengthen the overall tourism industry.

The company emphasizes that passengers can acquire the transit visa upon their arrival at Cairo International Airport. Additionally, to obtain the visa without any fees, passengers must personally visit the EgyptAir transit office located at the airport and diligently complete a data form.

EgyptAir won the title of the ‘fastest recovering airline’ in Africa at the Athens 2.2 Airline Marketing Workshop. The workshop, held by Athens International Airport, honors airlines that quickly bounced back from the COVID-19 pandemic. EgyptAir’s speedy recovery shows their ability to adapt and regain strength swiftly. This recognition highlights their determination and successful strategies in overcoming challenges. It proves EgyptAir’s commitment to overcoming obstacles and getting operations back to normal after the pandemic.
