EgyptAir Flight MS643 Safely Lands After Tire Explosion at Jeddah Airport
EgyptAir flight MS643, a B738 model, experienced a tire explosion during its landing in the early hours of this morning on the dedicated landing runway at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
An official source from the national airline, EgyptAir, stated that during the landing of EgyptAir flight MS643, a B738 model, on Jeddah International Airport’s landing runway, one of the aircraft’s tires suffered an explosion.
The captain of the EgyptAir aircraft successfully landed the plane safely on the runway, and all passengers were safely disembarked to the arrivals lounge without any injuries.
An official source from the national airline, EgyptAir, stated that the examination of the aircraft’s body is currently underway in preparation for maintenance procedures and necessary technical work.
