EgyptAir announced earlier today that all flights from and to the Sudanese capital Khartoum would be temporarily suspended due to the ongoing instability the country is facing.
The National Airline announced two days ago, that they would be a halt in flights for 72 hours until the situation stabilizes in Sudan.
The Airline also requested its customers who are traveling to and from Khartoum Airport to review their reservations by contacting the EgyptAir Service Call Center on 1717 from any mobile phone inside Egypt for any inquiries and the landline number on 090070000.

Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mostafa Sameh Shoukry has been on calls with his counterpart in Sudan on which he stressed that the Egyptian position would always defend the unity and integrity of Sudan, and the Sudanese people. Along with their abilities, disregarding the need for external parties to intervene in any way may fuel the ongoing conflict.
Shoukry also informed his counterpart of the Egyptian/Saudi Arabian initiative which aims to hold an emergency meeting in the Arab League.
