Egyptian Athlete Defies Odds And Breaks Guinness World Record
Despite a harrowing shark attack that cost him a leg, Omar Abdelkader, a 29-year-old Egyptian, has made an inspiring comeback. Back in June 2016, during a leisurely boat trip with friends near Ain Sokhna, Egypt, he had an unexpected and chilling encounter with two sharks.
Fast forward seven years, and Omar hasn’t allowed his setbacks to put a damper on his spirits. Instead, he’s turned the tables and reached an astonishing level of physical prowess. In fact, he’s now proudly wearing the crown of the Guinness World Records, achieving the title for the most muscle ups in one hour – an impressive 161 reps.
