The Egyptian Embassy in Beirut urged its community today to continue exercising utmost caution, avoid areas experiencing tension, and adhere to the instructions of the relevant Lebanese authorities. This call comes in light of the current security developments in Lebanon.

In a statement posted on its social media page, the embassy encouraged Egyptian citizens wishing to return home to quickly register their details by sending a message that includes their full name, a copy of their passport or national ID, and contact information through one of the following channels:
The embassy’s Facebook page (Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Lebanon), the embassy’s email (embassy.beirut@mfa.gov.eg), or by calling the embassy at “01 825 566” (internal numbers 102 and 104, and mobile number “76 654 634” available 24 hours).
