Egyptian Scholar and Doctor Mohamed Loutfi Receives Honorary Doctorate From the University of Sunderland in England

The University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom, one of the most prestigious public research universities in the north-east of England, granted Dr. Mohamed Loutfi, President of the British University in Egypt, an honorary doctorate in education.

In appreciation of his professional career and his clear imprint in the field of internationalization of higher education, and appreciation of his achievements during his period of work at the University of Sunderland, and his many and varied professional achievements during his scientific history in the field of higher education for more than 30 years.

In its letter to Dr. Muhammad Loutfi, the University of Sunderland praised his honorable academic history and distinguished professional career, as he is considered one of the most important scholars and professors in the internationalization of higher education, and pointed to the depth of the relations that bind them, and the spirit of cooperation, and dedication.

His Honorary Doctorate was conferred by Sir David Bell, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive of the University of Sunderland, at the renowned Stadium of Light in Sunderland. Professor Loutfi was joined by friends, colleagues, peers, and his family – his wife Heba Saad Moustafa, and his two sons Youssef Loutfi and Nael Loutfi.
