Egypt’s Central Bank Releases A New Plastic EGP 10 Cash Bill

Avatar

Rumours of Egypt’s new plastic cash has been around for some time, except we can now confirm it is not a rumour anymore.

New polymer EGP 10 banknotes have officially been released

Along with the new plastic material, the cash bill features a new gold design that has the New Administrative Capital’s new Al-Fattah Al-Aleem Mosque on it. Btw, it is Egypt’s largest mosque to date.

Polymer banknotes have a lot of benefits when compared to paper notes. They last longer, are waterproof, are more easily recyclable, are more difficult to counterfeit, and are stain proof from dirt and dust.

That’s one heck of a glow up if you ask us!
