“El Harifa 2” makes Egyptian history!

“El Harifa 2” has achieved strong box office results, earning nearly 4.7 million EGP last week, bringing its total earnings to 120.2 million EGP after 8 weeks, with over a million tickets sold.

The film stars Nour El-Nabawy, Ahmed Ghazi, Kazbara, Nour Ehab, Dona Imam, Nourin Abou Saada, and Salim Turk. It was written by Iyad Saleh and directed by Karim Saad. The film also features cameo appearances from several notable celebrities, including Asser Yassin, Ahmed Fahmy, Asmaa Galal, and a special appearance by retired football star Michael Owen.

The plot of “El Harifa 2” is a thrilling drama that combines sports and social struggles, following the journey of friends Hetta, Shishtawy, and Magid, who are passionate about football. After winning the national championship, they receive scholarships to study at a foreign university. As social differences come to light, many comedic situations arise within the story.

Producer Tarek El-Ganaini commented: “‘El Harifa 2’ has become the third highest-grossing film in the history of Egyptian cinema, which I consider an achievement I never imagined. Thank you to everyone who helped and believed in us, and to those who doubted, provoked, and challenged us—you were truly our greatest motivation!”
