EMA Warns Of Sandy Weather And Advises Those With Allergies To Remain At Home

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority warned of dust-laden wind activity that may reach the point of a dust storm in exposed areas and advised tightly closing windows, not standing for long periods in surface areas, and wearing masks in the street, especially those with chest and sinus allergies.

They also warned of strong winds that increase the feeling of cold weather, as the winds are active in areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northwestern coasts, where sand and soil are present in the coastal areas, the north, the east, and the various types of canal cities.

So, if you suffer from sinusitis or chest allergies, it’s highly advised to remain home, or wear a mask if you have to go out!
