Get Ready for the Heatwave: Cairo to Hit 39 Degrees on Thursday
The weather forecast map issued by the General Authority for Meteorology revealed predictions for the weather conditions by the end of this week. It noted that the country is expected to experience an increase in temperatures from tomorrow, Wednesday, June 7, until Friday, June 9, across all regions.
The maximum temperatures in Cairo are expected to reach 39 degrees on the following Thursday, and in the southern regions, it may reach 45 degrees.
The Meteorological Authority also pointed out that during this period, there is also expected to be activity from sandstorms and dust-carrying winds in some areas, accompanied by occasional light rain, which may be thundery.
