Students Of Helwan University Qualify For The Second Round Of GEVC In The US

Helwan University students qualify for the second round of GEVC!

The University announced earlier that a team of students from the faculty of engineering in El Matareya has won multiple awards in the Global Electric Vehicle Challenge.

They have won multiple awards and qualified for the second round in the United States.

The awards are:

– First Place in Design Presentation

– Preservation Award

– Overall, Third Place in The Middle East.

The event was being held in the United Arab Emirates, and now, the team has qualified for the second round in the United States.

 

The car, with which the students participated, was built similarly to Formula-1 cars and manufactured entirely in Egypt in the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

Dr. Qandil, President of Helwan University, congratulated the students on their win, and stressed on the fact that these challenges and competitions earn students high experience and skills that qualify them to compete strongly.

He also added that one of the university’s honorable and strategic objectives is to manufacture and produce cars with these specifications.
