In an official statement, the Egyptian Federation declared Hossam Hassan as the new coach of the first team. Moreover, the Federation has chosen his brother, Ibrahim Hassan, to serve as the manager of the national team, signaling a familial bond within the coaching staff.

Hossam Hassan’s journey in football has been extensive. He started his career playing primarily for his hometown club, Al Ahly. During his playing career, he also had short stints with teams in Greece, Switzerland, and other Egyptian clubs before retiring in 2008.

Coaching Career

After retiring from professional football, Hossam Hassan transitioned into coaching. He resumed his coaching duties with the Modern Future club in the Egyptian league before being summoned by the Football Association to lead the national team. Throughout his coaching career, he has demonstrated his commitment to the sport and his ambition to guide the Egyptian national team to success.
