Hurghada was crowned as one of The New York Times’s 52 destinations to visit!

Hurghada, one of Egypt’s and one of the Red Sea’s most pristine towns, was recently included in the New York Times’s top 52 Places to Visit in 2024! Known for its wide variety of beaches, islands, water activities, and exquisite nightlife, Egypt’s Hurghada remains a perfect option for foreigners and Egyptians alike.

The article praises Hurghada’s marine and coastal life. With the town’s crystal-clear waters and exciting diving spots teeming with vibrant coral reefs and an array of exotic marine species, it’s a paradise for divers and snorkelers alike.

The article also applauds the Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Association, a nongovernmental organization founded by divers in 1992. The article praised the organization’s efforts in installing the world’s largest mooring systems which reduces the harms of dive-boat anchors.
