Khaled El-Amry, the brother of El Amry Farouk, the former Deputy President of Al-Ahly Club and Minister of Sports, has denied the news of his death that circulated today, Tuesday.

Khaled El-Amry wrote, “My brother Amry is still alive, if anything happens, we, his siblings, will be the first to announce it.”

He added, “How can people announce his death while he is still alive? This is something that cannot be concealed.”

Hisham El-Amry, another brother of El Amry Farouk, also wrote, “The condition is very, very critical, but thank God, Amer is still alive.”

Al Amry Farouk has been in the hospital in recent days after suffering a brain hemorrhage while he was inside the headquarters of Al-Ahly Club. He was transferred to the hospital on November 7th of the previous year.

Tarek Kandil, a member of the board of directors of Al-Ahly Club, recently spoke about Amer Farouk’s condition, saying, “At the moment, it’s not a medical matter. Now, we only hope for God’s mercy. The doctors have done everything they could.”
