With his characteristic humor, he urged viewers to stop the speculation surrounding the canine’s newfound fame. “Leave this talk alone,” he stated, referring to rumors about potential commercial ventures surrounding the dog, such as creating a glass house for visitors. His plea to “just leave the dog alone” resonated with many who felt that the dog’s presence was a spontaneous and organic addition to the iconic site.
As reports emerged of international offers to buy the dog and viral images of it relaxing at the base of the pyramids, it became clear that this pooch was more than just a stray.
