PM Moustafa Madbouly: “We’re Ready To Sacrifice Millions For Sinai”

During a visit to North Sinai, Al Arish, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly delivered a speech, reaffirming Egypt’s stance on evacuating Gazans to Sinai.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has rejected Israel’s recommendations of displacing the Palestinian people in the Sinai desert stressing that “The displacement of Palestinian people means the liquidation of the Palestinian cause, which is very important to all Arabs”

During his visit, Madbouly made a strong remark about protecting Sinai land by stressing “We’re ready to sacrifice millions of lives to every grain of Sinai sand”

He also stressed that the “egypt will not tolerate resolving of any regional cause at its expense”

He’s currently in Battalion 101 in El-Arish, accompanied by a group of tribal leaders of Sinai, politicians, parliament members, and media professionals.

Mohamed Rabie, Commander of the Second Field Army stated that “the armed forces personnel are highly prepared to implement any mission assigned to them in order to protect Egypt’s national security at the northeastern strategic direction,” during the ceremony.

Egypt has been pushing for a ceasefire in Gaza that allows the delivery of urgent humanitarian aid to the strip, to save civilians’ lives, and prepares the ground for a peaceful phatway.
