The Mansoura Criminal Court decided to sentence the accused of blackmailing the daughter of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab to 3 years in prison and confiscating his phone.
The Public Prosecution accused “Sharif Khaled Mahmoud Al-Saeed Mustafa,” 19 years old, residing in the Mansoura First District District in Dakahlia Governorate, threatening the child, “Hana Muhammad Mustafa Abdel Hamid Al-Faqi.” Sherine Abdel Wahab’s daughter, through the social media network, by disclosing matters that affect her honor and that were obtained from the crime under accusation, and this was accompanied by a request, namely: Providing him with sums of money in exchange for not publishing.
Sherine Abdel Wahab’s ex-husband and composer, Muhammad Mustafa, had filed a report with the Internet Investigations Department in Abbasiya that his 12-year-old daughter had been blackmailed and threatened by an unknown account on the Tik Tok application, which left her in a bad psychological state.
The father said that the social worker at his daughter’s school summoned him regarding the matter, confirming that the child had attempted suicide as a result of the blackmail she was being subjected to.
After investigations, the authorities were able to determine the identity of the accused, and he was arrested.

When confronted, he confessed to committing the incident, and an examination of his mobile phone revealed the existence of conversations between him and the victim, which contained threats and blackmail. Pictures and videos belonging to the victim were also found on his phone.
Sherif, the 19-year-old blackmailer has been threatening 12-year-old Hana with sensitive pictures and videos in exchange for money. However, when she stopped answering him, he released a video of her.
