Metro Alexandria Inaugurates Its First Phase!
The Ministry of Transportation announced the commencement of the first phase of the new Alexandria metro line (Abu Qir- Misr Station).
The Ministry had previously announced the suspension of operation of the current Abu Qir railway line, to begin implementing the first phase of the Alexandria Metro Project (Abu Qir – Misr Station).
The ministry, represented by the Land Transport Regulatory Authority (LTRA) is currently in contact with the concerned departments in Alexandria to provide alternative methods of transportation instead of the Abu Qir station
