Metro Ticket Prices Are To Be Raised After New Stations Inauguration
Ministry of Transportation Announced The Raise in Metro Fares
The Ministry of Transportation announced the raise in metro fares after the inauguration of the third metro line.
Kamel al-Wazir, Minister of Transportation announced in a press statement earlier yesterday that the Metro fares are to be raised.
The current fare for tickets covering more than 25 stations is LE10. However, the ministry confirmed that the new prices for tickets covering more than 25 stations will be LE12.
The raise will come after the inauguration of the third metro line, not instantly.
