Microbus Plunge From Abu Ghaleb Ferry Claimed Lives Of 15 Girls

A tragic incident takes 15 innocent lives

In a tragic incident, earlier today, a microbus carrying a number of girls fell from the top of a ferry into the Beheiri Canal in Manshiyet al-Qanater in Giza (Abu Ghaleb Ferry). Some of the girls drowned, while approximately 10 were rescued. The river rescue forces moved to recover the victims.

The initial investigations into the microbus sinking incident at the Abu Ghaleb ferry in the Manshiyet al-Qanater police station area revealed that the accident resulted in 15 deaths. Three bodies have been recovered so far, and investigations by the Giza Security Directorate detectives are ongoing to uncover the full circumstances of the incident.

River rescue forces ran to the rescue

On Tuesday morning, a microbus carrying a number of girls fell from the top of a ferry into the Beheiri Canal in Manshiyet al-Qanater in Giza (Abu Ghaleb Ferry). Some of the girls drowned, while approximately 10 were rescued. The river rescue forces moved to recover the victims.

The Giza Security Directorate received a report indicating that a vehicle had sunk in the Beheiri Canal in Manshiyet al-Qanater. The detectives moved to the scene, and river rescue forces were called in. It was found that a microbus loaded with girls, who work on a farm, had fallen into the water while crossing the canal on a ferry. Some of the girls drowned, while approximately 10 were rescued. The necessary legal measures have been taken, and search operations are continuing.
