The Ministry Of Education Is Fixing The Prices Of Student Services And Activity Fees
The Minister of Education, Dr Reda Hegazy has approved the decision of determining the fees of subscriptions and educational activities for all students
Nobody likes hidden fees or extra charges and that’s why the Ministry has stepped in to make sure that schools don’t collect additional charges or request for fees to be paid at different timings than the norm.
The fees have been fixed and determined as such:
- EGP305 for grades from kindergarten to fifth primary.
- EGP205 for grades from the sixth primary to the third preparatory.
- EGP520 for the first year of secondary school.
- EGP505 from the second year of secondary school until the third year of secondary school.
- EGP220 for the first technical secondary grade of all types and systems (3-5 years).
- EGP205 for the rest of the technical secondary education classes of all types and systems (3-5 years).
The Ministry also stated that these fees will be paid in three instalments (in October 2022, January 2023, and March 2023)
