During the investigation, Karma’s father accused the school of negligence, citing the failure of supervising staff to intervene and protect his daughter. He also criticized students who recorded the altercation instead of stopping the fight.
The father explained that he personally took his daughter to the hospital after arriving an hour post-incident. He denied any prior disputes between his daughter and the girls involved in the assault.
A formal complaint was filed by the father with security authorities, reporting the physical assault and verbal harassment his daughter endured from the three students.
The “Capital International School” issued an official statement addressing the incident. The school announced the expulsion of the three students involved in the attack and referred their cases to the School Protection Committee for necessary legal actions.
The statement outlined the following measures taken:
The school affirmed its responsibility from the moment the incident occurred. They intervened to stop the fight, provided first aid to the injured student, and informed her guardian. The school conducted an investigation using surveillance footage and summoned the parents of the students involved to inform them of the expulsion decision.
The school’s administration continues to monitor Karma’s health and psychological condition and plans to support her reintegration upon her return. They also announced stricter security measures and enhanced supervision, particularly after school hours.
