Nermine El Feky’s “X” Account Is Causing A Stir On Social Media
After an unusual account emerged on twitter under Nermine el feky’s name, social media was quick to attack the actress..
Egyptian actress Nermin El Feky revealed the absence of any official account for her on the “X” platform, especially after discovering a verified account bearing her name on the platform, which she found surprising. She also questioned, how it is possible to have a fake verified account on what’s supposed to be a credible social media platform.
El-Feky warned against interacting with this account and wrote on her personal Facebook account:
“It is truly audacious and outrageous that someone would verify a page on Twitter, one of the largest and most important platforms, and speak on my behalf. How did we reach this stage? Moreover, I don’t even have an account on Twitter. What legal consequences do these individuals face?”
